As a physician, I field many questions from my patients  regarding what supplements they should take.  The market for vitamins and supplements is vast, and confusing.  What  a consumer needs to understand, is that while we may be deficient in certain nutrients, additional stressors, as well as other substances we put in our bodies can cause an nutrient deficiencies.  When I tell my patients what they should be taking, they are the same things I take regularly.
