of cholesterol. Much has been written about the best dose
to take. RDA for non smoking adults is 75mg per day, and 110mg per
day for smoking women, and 125mg per day for smoking men. Nobel
Prize winning scientist Linus Pauling, who supported raising the
RDA, was said to take doses in the grams. Since this is a
watersoluble vitamin, what your body doesn't need, you kidneys with
excrete. People taking multiple medications should consult the
primary care provider before taking larger doses. For those not
taking regular medications it should be alright to take 1000mg per
day.
